LARGE FAMILY ACTIVITIES
Matt: Karaoke, Lip Sync, Skits-Whatever you want to do. Plan for
about an hour.
Jed: Hike-You’ll be responsible for organizing, getting us going
on a hike. Your choice of locations.I can get you some location information, a
hike to the lava tubes (caves) was a popular vote by the family.
Cory: Family Trivia- This
will be done before each meal/major activity for
about 5 minutes. You’ll be responsible for getting an interesting fact about
each family member and sharing it with the rest of the family (in a “who has
done this?” Kind of style). Basically,
you’ll be responsible for a quick spotlight of each member.
Greg: Family History- plan on three 10-15 minute activities/stories
aimed towards adults.
Reed: Games- I already talked to Gary and Julie about this-they’ve
got a basic rundown. It just needs to keep most everyone involved most of the
time. Plan for about an hour (maybe a little longer)
Glenn: Dance (square dancing, line dancing, party dancing). Plan for
about an hour.
SMALL ACTIVITIES for KIDS
These activities are ones to keep the kids happy and busy. If you have kids under the age of 12, please bring an activity to share. So far, this is what's coming:
Liz & James- foam swords
Katrina & Kirk-craft supplies
Glenn & Janae-kick the can, bead stringing
Stephanie & Anders- guessing jars (this is for everyone), nature scavenger hunt
Legos-Jed & Angie
Legos-Jed & Angie
Here are some more ideas for those who haven't yet decided on something to bring: paper rockets, giant bubbles, treasure hunt, any outdoor games. Really, anything that you can come up with for a large group of kids is great!
SMALL ACTIVITIES for ADULTS
Basically, if you have a game or something you'd like to do with the adults, bring it. If not, don't worry about it. :)
